THE ARTS
Performing Arts
Lal Lal Primary School is very proud of their Performing Arts Program. Classroom Music, incorporating Drama and Dance, is delivered to all students through by a specialist Music Teacher. They are also offered a variety of extra-curricular groups including Rock Band, Choir and Recorder Group.
Choir
Students in the Lal Lal PS choir have fun learning a variety of songs, with a focus on developing singing and choral technique. A highlight for the choir was singing in the global Greening the World project ‘Tree by Tree,’ in connection with Compassion Ballarat and Parks Vic. The choir was professionally recorded and filmed.

Excursions and Incursions with Performing Arts companies
Although we are a small, rural school, our students do not miss out on opportunities to experience top-quality performances and workshops. We have been fortunate to secure visits from The Melbourne Arts Centre and the Bell Shakespeare Company (seen below).
